Kane County, Illinois

Kane County is located in north east Illinois, on the very western edge of the Chicago area. It contains some of the larger Chicago Suburbs.
It is named for Elias Kane, an early United States Senator from Illinois. The seat is Geneva, while the largest city is Aurora.
It borders McHenry, Cook, DuPage, Will, Kendall and DeKalb Counties.
Main highways include I-88, I-90, US-20, US-30, US-34, IL-19, IL-25, IL-31, IL-64 and IL-72.
